Preissing came in for criticism last night from the media (including this writer, see previous post) for what appeared a-less-than-100-percent effort on the game’s decisive play.
Preissing’s admission explains everything and places even more blame on the LA Kings for not sending back healthy D Davis Drewiske and allowing Preissing to play when he clearly is having difficulty performing at an all-out level in this desperate AHL playoff bid.

Oh, come on. Yeah, Lombardi should have sent Drewiske down because Preissing is playing hurt. Right. I don’t see why Drewiske should be penalized. Was Preissing playing hurt all year?
