It was actually a great act of sportsmanship. I was standing right behind the goal when it happened, King noticed the guy was hurt (looked like orbital bone), made sure the guy wasn't going to swing, and left the guy alone.... The Yote player was Ahnelov I believe

This fight can be seen on lakings.com, under Multimedia / Kingsvision / Special Features / Kings - Coyotes rookie scrimmage. I forget which period. But if you're willing to watch the footage of that scrimmage you can find it. I wasn't as impressed as the Battle of California writer. It looked to me like King was going against a guy who had never fought before; couldn't defend himself for his life. After a few King rights to the face, it looked like the guy got hurt (orbital bone?) and said something to the ref, who then stopped the fight. It wasn't like King came off as a great fighter; if anything it seemed like more a misguided attempt by the Coyote guy to impress his coaches. No big whup. Rather forgettable, imho, unless you're really really into King.
