If you were familiar with this blog (no reason why you should be) you would know I like Purcell and have been a big supporter of his for a long time. However, I stick by what I said here. I don’t see how he gets back in the line-up, barring injury.

But at least it’s because of a numbers game thing, in that the Kings have so many effective forwards right now that there just isn’t room for him. Maybe Lombardi will find him a good home at the deadline and get something in return.
