I agree that Phoenix is playing over its head, but I think that means that they’ll come back to their natural level by the end of the season.

Whereas Chicago would make for a tough series because they’re about a year ahead of the Kings on the rise, and therefore that much better.

All the stars would be aligned, and, of course, the Kings would prevail.

After that, I say bring on Calgary. They haven’t played “bad” against them really, just haven’t yet found a way to beat them. They can figure it out. If they beat Calgary, they go on to win the Cup.

It would be a totally boring series still.

Absolutely agree with the preference to the kings facing SJ, CHI, DAL, and in that order. Yeah, Calgary would be totally hopeless. They’ll win at least a round this year.
