But what’s also silly is the idea that Vancouver is “the best.” Let’s face it: they faced the weakest competition overall in their division. They’re the only team to even make the playoffs. Compare that to St. Louis who beat out NSH, DET, and CHI, well, I know who I think is better.

Besides, rivalry is good for hockey. Kings and Canucks should generate way more buzz than Kings and Blues, or even Sharks and Canucks. I’m personally stoked.
