If you’re looking for some kind of sports analog, the one that has been coming to my mind is how the Showtime Lakers teams used to roll through the early rounds of the playoffs. But even then, the Finals against the Celtics or the 76ers always posed a challenge. I don’t recall them going up 3-0 in the NBA Finals.
