And I learn (as we all did this morning) that the Devils’ financial picture is so grim that they can’t offer a contract to Martin Brodeur, there is simply no way I am re-signing with that team. At this point, the inestimable charms of Lou Lamoriello* are the only hope of keeping Parise in New Jersey.
