If he is indeed a #1 netminder in the NHL, the Kings would do well to play him 25 times this year. Make him look great and then trade him. Right now people are unsure about his abilities. Or at least not sure enough to warrant a few good players or prospects coming back to the Kings. That should not be so after a good 25 games this year. And if he fizzles out, he’ll happily come back as backup, I would think. At the very least to prove himself.
