    Please explain to me why Doan is considered such a great leader when in the most important series he’s ever played in he completely lost his mind, took atrocious penalties mostly of the retaliatory variety including a 10 minute misconduct in the deciding game and blamed the whole thing on the referees.

    But I would still love to have him on the team as long as he takes his performance cues from Brown, the real leader.

    I liked the comment by Harrison Mooney. It reminds me of a friend of mine who, after getting a divorce, went through what he described as a PDFF — Post Divorce F*** Fest.

      Good point.

      I wouldn’t mind the Kings signing him under team-friendly terms, i.e., a contract that makes him easy to trade once it becomes apparent that he’s blocking a younger player with more long-term value to the franchise. But I don’t think that will be possible unless he’s willing to forgo $ and years in favor of a good chance to win the Cup.
