Get the owners to fix their own house. They’re the ones who keep starting fires in different rooms and adding on when they shouldn’t. The owners are out of control and only get punished when they break ranks. Resurrect Judge Landis; someone who put the sport above players and management. The players should do some revenue sharing of their own–not just the “lockout fund” but the better-paid players should financially support those making less. Because if they don’t, then with every new CBA the owners are going to demand salary rollbacks. Contracts become worthless. Players will settle for low pay but demand high signing bonuses. That may be their long-term leverage.
