  • Fourth line, awesome. Scored both goals.
  • Kyle Clifford, Jordan Nolan, Colin Fraser, all +2.
  • Clifford, 2 assists, leads Kings in points.
  • Third line, fine.
  • Jarret Stoll, Dwight King and Trevor Lewis, all even +/-.
  • Lewis led the team with 4 shots.
  • 1st line, got better as the game went on.
  • Dustin Penner, Justin Williams and Jeff Carter, all -1.
  • Penner, Williams and Carter, 3, 2 and 2 shots, respectively.
  • 2nd line, terrible.
  • Dustin Brown, Mike Richards and Simon Gagne, all -3.
  • 2 shots for the whole line (both by Brown).
  • Defense? I don’t know, really. Didn’t notice.
  • Quick — not his best game.
  • Too early to condemn anyone after one afternoon game, but I don’t like that second line.
  • I look forward to Brown/Kopitar/Williams, Penner/Richards/Carter. You know, like in the playoffs.
  • Where do you put Gagne when Kopitar returns?

    Two lines that did well were the two lines that were used to playing together.

      Exactly. 4th line was excellent. 3rd line not bad. Nolan and King want it.

      But lets talk about Davis.

      Drewiske played another of his spectacular “first do no harm” games. Drewiske must have the most intensive off ice conditioning routine of the entire club to pull off his “always ready” shit…and it showed. It could have been the middle of last season far as Davis was concerned.

      First two lines were bad fits. Moving Brown across ice…bad, bad move. Didn’t anyone remember the first 50 games of 11-12? Did someone on the farm get kicked?

      OK, time to forget the game, forget the wrinkled banner that will look very lonely until surrounded by the retired jerseys. Next game…please.

      I’d also point out that (except for Stoll) those two lines are full of young guys who still have the most to prove despite having been on a Cup winner.

    Did NBC cut the feed and switch over to the Penguins-Flyers game early in the 3rd in LA too? I missed almost the entire 3rd period because that moronic trolls who run NBC decided they had to do that here even though Center Ice is free right now and anyone who was watching the Kings-Hawks game and would have preferred to watch the other could easily have changed the channel themselves, whereas when those assholes cut the feed to one of NBC’s games, there is literally nowhere else I can go to see the rest.
