Stewart appears to be a good space holder with no “waiver worry” downside.

And, yeah, I was pleasantly surprised by Fraizer…until game 78 I was ready to throw him under a bus.

I think Stewart has an uphill struggle to prove he belongs on the roster, so I’d say he’s the disposable part. He may open the coaches’ eyes and make himself too valuable to let go. But I honestly think he was the throw-in in the Westgarth deal. Dean wanted the picks, but also had to agree to take some salary back in return.

But then again, I never thought Colin Fraser would play much for the Kings, either.

Good recap for what surely will be the year of the groin.

The Gagne/3rd line observation is a good one. I had chemistry/line balance worries when he appeared in the playoffs…but all’s well that…

Another is Muzzen. He seems like the “caught flat” type. But that was then. This seems like a good time for a look. The club may not have one of either Mitchell or Scuderi next year.

Voynov could be the Jack Johnson we were looking for.
