Since LA plays each of those teams 3 times this season, (and both of them have 2 home dates against LA) the first home game hosted by CHI and NSH are disregarded when it come tiebreaking time (LA lost both of those games). Similarly, LA does not yet have the tiebreaker over CBJ either. The odd game rule rarely matters, since in most seasons each team has an equal number of home/away games – but this season, they will most definitely come to the forefront. It’s going to make determining things at the end of the season quite interesting.
