Devils center Adam Henrique predicted that Andrei Loktionov, acquired in a trade with the Los Angeles Kings on Wednesday, will be in the NHL in no time.

Loktionov and Henrique were junior teammates on the 2008-09 Windsor (OHL) team that won the Memorial Cup.

I loved that team. Henrique, Loktionov, Taylor Hall…

“He’s a skilled guy. He’s shifty and he makes things happen,” Henrique said. “He sees the ice so well. He’s fun to play with. Hopefully he’ll [...] be up here soon.”

It won’t take long, Henrique suggested.

“He’s a great player. He’ll be here in no time,” he said. “He’s got a knack for scoring goals.”
