    I like Ellerby’s size and the fact that he plays a gritty game. I remember liking him more than Hickey in their draft year because of his size. Beyond that I don’t know if he’s really NHL caliber. I think the talk of him being ready to be a top 4 defenseman on the Kings is a bit optimistic. I hope he proves me wrong because the Kings could sure you a reliable guy on the blue line.

    Memo to Drew Doughty: You’re not Bobby Orr. Stop trying to go end to end every time you get the puck. You’re a defenseman. Worry about playing defense first.
