NHL Consecutive Playoff Series Wins

I wondered where the Kings sit in terms of historical playoff series win streaks. Now I know. Before 1968, there were only two rounds of playoffs, then three rounds from 1968-1979, and four rounds from 1980 on. At least, I think it was 1980. Pretty sure, yeah. Anyway, the first number is the number of consecutive series wins. The number in parentheses is the number of cups won during that streak.

Twelve franchises have won five or more series in a row. Nine have done it since the NHL went to 4 rounds.

Wow, I’d forgotten the Stars got back to the Finals again in 1999.

What’s the record for winning a series not having home ice advantage?
