Pierre LaBrun has an interesting Bernier tidbit

By
November 17, 2009

harry2299: The Kings have the best team they have had in ages, and as a Kings fan, I couldn’t be happier with the progress they’ve made this season. The only gripe I have is why is Jonathan Bernier still in the AHL. I understand wanting to give him more playing time, but Murray’s expecting...

Cut/Paste in its entirety: RudyKelly on today’s game sort of

WOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! Man am I pumped for this game.  I’m a Kings man tried and true but I sure do love those Atlanta Thrashers.  There’s Ilya, of course, who is without a doubt my favorite non-Kings related hockey player in the league.  I don’t watch Ilya Kovalchuk enough to know if he’s...

Quick Transition

By
November 9, 2009

Early in the season, someone observed that Quick was letting in some weird (i.e. soft) goals in the wins, but standing on his head in the losses. Last couple of games, it’s happening in the losses. Maybe he’s tired. Maybe it would be a good idea to waive/trade Ersberg and bring up Bernier and...

By
October 19, 2009

As of tonight, he’s at 2.88 GAA and and even .900 SV%. I guess that’s not quite “breaking” that second one, but so what. It’s good. via Jonathan Quick, Kings – Stats – Los Angeles Kings – Team. Evernote lets you save all the interesting things you see online into a single place. Access...

I Would Just Like to Point Out That Erik Ersberg Has Not Won a Single Game Since Jonathan Quick Joined the Kings

By
October 14, 2009

His last win was in mid-December of 2008. Since Quick was called up, Ersberg has lost ten straight. So I don’t think anyone can argue that he’s “resilient” and “he’ll bounce back.” At least not from the evidence. [UPDATE: and here's something else. Take a look at last year's goalie stats sorted by wins....
