RC: Mom, I’m never going to make it to the NHL.
Me: Why do you say that, honey?
RC: Because I can’t tie my own skates.
Me: Honey, if you make it to the NHL, I will come and tie your skates for you every day.
RC: Mom, that’s nice of you to offer but you’ll be dead by then.
